Document Management & Workflow Adminstrator*- approx 16 hours per week
Duties include:
1) To work accurately and timely document management of patients records, letters and other correspondence
2) Workflow optimisation, use clinical codes to record and summarise key information from all incoming correspondence relating to specific patients, when and where required, workflow these to the appropriate clinician/colleagues with the clinical system according to practice pathways and protocols
3) Scanning, extracting and coding relevant information from patients’ clinical records into the clinical computer system working in accordance with protocols
4) Assisting in wider general administrative support to the wider team when required.
5) To assist with induction and training of new team members or clinicians to ensure their needs are met
6) To provide cover for administration tasks during sickness and annual leave Experience of working in General Practice and knowledge of EMIS Web, Docman, and Snomed is preferred.
* hours will increase as role is advertised as job share currently
