Safe Sex this Summer
Posted or Updated on 15 Aug 2024
One of the most effective ways of protecting against sexually transmitted infections is to use a condom. However, as many STIs don’t have any obvious symptoms and can lead to more serious health consequences, regular testing is just as important.
We offer fast track testing clinics which can be booked by calling Embrace on 01902 444444, or alternatively request a free at-home STI testing kit online at www.embracewolverhampton.nhs.uk.
For confidential guidance call our advice line on 01902 481689 every weekday 9am to 12pm or text Chat Sexual Health, on 07480 635 548.
People requiring emergency contraception can contact the service directly. The 'morning after pill' and 'the pill' (oral contraception) can also be obtained free of charge from many community pharmacies around the city, which are listed on our website embracewolverhampton.nhs.uk.
