Protect your vision this Ramadan: Eye drops won’t break your fast!
According to the majority of Islamic scholars, eye drops do not invalidate the fast. If you follow a different scholarly opinion, please speak to your Imam or healthcare team.

It’s important to continue taking eye drops or using the tropicamide eye drops provided at your diabetic eye screening appointment, including during the month of Ramadan.
In Islam, preserving health is important. If you are unwell, exemptions and alternatives to fasting are available, please speak to your GP or healthcare team.
